We were at a loss in regards to getting my partners sister into a nursing home after long months of fruitless enquiries, phone calls/emails never answered and so on. And to complicate things, she SMOKED! No-one wants smokers (and I don’t blame them!). But they could at least have the decency to reply. Then, I found the COTA magazine on Aging, and my solution. Employ someone to help you! So I made some enquiries and settled on Vanessa. We met up with her at her office, she took the information we had, told us what else we needed, and we were on the way. I am not exactly sure of the time frame but within 4 -6 weeks she had found 2 places which we looked at, and chose the 2nd, mainly because it was somewhat closer to where we live, 1.5 hours out of Perth! The first one also reluctantly allowed smokers, but by then sister had involuntarily ceased. YAY!! Vanessa was also under the pump as we were due to go on a long planned trip within a short period and hoped to get this done before then. Sister moved into care the day we flew out!! Vanessa was very professional, easy to chat to, and kept us informed. We were so happy wth her service. Best thing we ever did, and well worth the small expense. We would not hesitate to recommend her. Thanks for everything Vanessa! Very much appreciated!

When it became clear that mum was going to need permanent care, contacting Vanessa was the best thing we could have done. She has years of experience in the industry and made us aware of necessary steps along the way that we hadn’t considered, as well as having a very good knowledge of the Aged Care facilities in our area.

Like many families, it has been a journey for us trying to navigate the aged care system to find an aged care facility for my Dad. We thank our lucky stars that we found Vanessa at Navigate Aged Care Solutions to guide us through this process. My family and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, compassionate and knowledgeable placement consultant.
