I offer an initial consultation, where we meet to discuss your care needs, explore how to keep you safely at home, and determine what services are important to you to keep living your best life.

During this consultation, I will provide you with information about how home care funding works, the fees you will need to pay and which providers I believe may suit you.

You will gain a clear understanding of how a home care package works, the steps required to initiate services, and a list of potential providers to consider for an interview.

This consultation provides you with the knowledge and confidence you need to find the right provider, as well as peace of mind, knowing that an experienced home care consultant supports you throughout the journey.

Self-Management

Self-management of a home care package enables people to access the necessary services they need, with increased flexibility and a higher level of personalised service.

It is a more efficient use of available government funding, minimising provider fees and their high hourly rates.

I am a big fan of self-management, but it is not for everyone!

Together, we can determine if it is a right fit for you.

If you would like to venture down the self-management path, I can assist you with finding the right self-management provider, completing the necessary paperwork, implementing the package, including support worker recruitment and scheduling.

To provide you with the level of care and support you need, I offer an Initial Consultation where we meet to discuss your loved one. This lets me gain a deeper understanding of their situation, care needs, and what is important to them and their loved ones.

During this conversation, I will also cover all aspects of residential care entry, including costs and fees, as well as the necessary documents, which I have available.

I also focus on discussing the “business” side of care and what to look for when touring and negotiating an admission. This is an important aspect and is often not understood or considered.

This consultation is very comprehensive. By the end, you will have a clear understanding of how aged care works, what steps you need to take, and have an action plan.

Some families are happy to proceed independently from this consultation. Others want additional support with applications and tours.

I offer an Application Submission Service where I submit all the applications and associated paperwork to providers on your behalf.

I will liaise with the facilities and support you through the process until your loved one has secured a residential placement.

This service provides you with peace of mind, knowing that someone with the necessary experience and knowledge is available to act on your behalf.

I can also assist you with touring facilities if needed.

Whatever level of support you need, I will be there to support you.
