Within my previous roles working for Residential and Home Care Providers, I continually saw the difficulties people faced when trying to understand aged care and access services for themselves or their loved ones.

There was never enough time for me to explain how to navigate the aged care system or assist those who were struggling with mental health issues.

As an aged care consultant, I have gained a unique insight into Residential and Home Care Providers. I understand their business from a clinical perspective, their funding models and fees, and who they want for Home Care Package or Residential Care clients.

I also have extensive knowledge and experience navigating the aged care system itself and what you need to do to get things moving. (My Aged Care, Centrelink, ACAT, GP’s, Enduring Power of Attorneys and Enduring Power of Guardianship, SAT hearings, to name a few!)

This means I can provide you with the information and directions you need to get timely and appropriate services and support you through the aged care minefield.

Knowledge and Planning is Key!

As a Counsellor, specialising in Ageing, Grief and Loss and with a particular interest in people Living with Dementia, I can offer support to clients and carers on their dementia journey. I also offer counselling services for people struggling with everyday issues, including anxiety, depression, Grief and Loss and relationship issues. I also provide home care services (Helping you make an informed decision about you or loved one’s at-home care services) and aged care placement services (providing practical help and information for people needing to move into residential aged care, helping ease the stress and burden).
